Trailer Hook Leech
A pattern with a beautiful swimming action, The Trailer Hook Leech is a heavier fly than it's smaller counterpart the Egg Sucking Leech, both are built to take abuse from Large Trout and even larger more aggressive Salmon, With the Trailer Hook Leech sporting a Waddington Shank Extension, allowing a more animated swim action, and more hook area to set with, adding the ability to attract larger Salmon/Trout.
With the Trailer HookLeech you are getting 3 different attraction patterns
- The Predatory
- The Protective
- The Instinctive
With a predatory attraction pattern the Salmon/Trout will attack the leech and the egg, in hopes of getting a meal and wiping out rival egg hatches.
With the Protective attraction pattern a Salmon/Trout will see the culprit leech making off with an egg, and attempt to thwart the getaway.
With the instinctive the Salmon/Trout will react to the movement of the leech's swimming movement and instinctively attack the leech when in close enough proximity. Really great pattern for aggressive Salmon and Trout.
For a smaller Leech pattern try the Egg Sucking Leech, allowing for a different swimming style, and a more easily maneuverable lure in tight rocky situations!
